V.I.P. Group ~ Very Important Parent Group Family Engagement Meetings
Meetings have been held in the past on one Thursday of each month from September to May at 9:00am at Little Lighthouse Learning Center. All parents are invited to attend. Each meeting hosts a special guest or theme that will address an important topic relevant to parenting or self-improvement.
A Night at the Races
A fundraising event with opportunities for community members to support through horse purchase, advertisement, or item donation for basket raffle.
Harvest Fest Literacy Night and Trunk Or Treat
A family engagement activity held on an evening in October at 5:00pm. An opportunity for families to come together for dinner, a free book, an obstacle course, a photo op, and a Trunk or Treat.
Texas BBQ
A fundraising event held each spring. Delicious BBQ chicken dinner with all the fixings with a basket raffle.
Literacy Picnic
A family engagement activity held outside in good weather. A variety of fun activities for families to participate in before enjoying a picnic lunch together.
